When you have a difficult long term goal it is easy to become disheartened in the day to day training slog. A useful tool to assist with motivation is a training diary. Set 5 – 10 minutes a day to reflect on the activities you have done. Think about what worked and what didn’t and how you feel in general. Remember to enjoy small wins. When you look back months later you will see just how far you have come.
